Tim Corder understands Idaho. He is a native of the Gem state, with family residing in Idaho dating back to the 1860s. He is a father of three, grandfather of three and has been married to his wife LaVonne since 1968. Tim farmed the land for 35 years and owns a local trucking company.
Senator Corder also understands service. He is a Viet Nam Army Airborne Infantry veteran who has proudly served District 22 since 2004. Currently, he is Chairman of the Local Government and Taxation Committee and serves on both the Transportation and Agricultural Affairs committees. Tim also serves on the Health Care Task Force, Mental Health Subcommittee, Early Childhood Coordinating Council, and the Idaho Commission on Hispanic Affairs.
Tim Corder is a strong supporter of large and small business development, protecting family farms and ranches, refurbishing our roads and protecting the environment. He believes in Republican principles of private property rights and stable family values.
